Okay, there's this lady that's been driving me insane.

The house just behind our backyard has always been noisy, but these past few days, it's been especially charming. They have over a friend/relative who has one of those really loud, deep smoker's voices. She's always in the back porch (which, if there wasn't so much foliage, we could see... But we can definately hear) talking to friends "back home" on the phone, etc.... I know she can't help it, though, but I was taking a nap after work in my room (which is actually at the other end of the house, opposite the backyard... So this is quite a distance) and I'm awakened by "HWA HWA HWA HWA!" as if it was in my living room!
I may have found muscle scars! Oh, not on me, on my limpet research. If we positively identify muscle scars, we can then determine which is the front and which is the back and THEN we can find out if the shell leans to the left or to the right and THEN we'll know what species it is. That is, unless I find out it's something else. Which I hope it isn't, or I just wasted a lot of silicone for the molds, trying to find out which is left and which is right.
Anyway, I've been pooped.
OH! I set off the alarm today!! The entire Burke is wired with alarms because so many stupid people have tried to steal stuff. Every employee, they tell me, sets them off at one time or another. But it's so embarassing.... That door is usually just fine: during regular business hours. Just so happens I was running a little late today. At least I caught my bus!

I'm 19!! Woo! I Rule!
Haha. Well, I may not rule (yet), but I am 19, as of July 13th. I got magnetic poetry, a CD player (finally, I didn't have one of my own until now except those portable ones that skip if you touch them), a Calvin and Hobbes book (The Days Are Just Packed), new address labels so I can mail my friends in Pittsburgh, and the whole Bourne series by Robert Ludlum. woo-hoo!
I spent the night with Stephanie and we watched the movies Rock Star and A Beautiful Mind. That was the 3rd time I watched it, a little too many, but I had to make her see it, it's so good. We burnt candles in the basement, too. We also played Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy online and she started getting into a fight with the online chick, it was hilarious.
We also pigged out on ice cream, chocolate and pizza. Ahhhh..... It's all very strangely fulfilling....
The next day (the 14th), I spent it with Stephanie again, and Bin. Oh my. If you're reading this Bin, no offense, but wow, what a marathon.
What happened was a Big Miscommunication as always seems to happen with us. I don't notice that it happens very much with me and anyone else except Bin, or with Bin and anyone else except me.... I honestly can't say why, but it always makes for a crazy day and a weird after-story. I had told her to meet me at the Renton Transit Center (she was taking the bus to visit the Renton/Kent area). She knows I lived in Fairwood and it must have confused her when I was debating out loud whether she should come all the way to Fairwood and just stay in Renton. I checked the schedules, and it turns out the 101 bus doesn't go all the way to Fairwood on Sundays and she would have to take another bus. So I told her to just meet me in the Renton Transit Center, and we (my mom, Stephanie and I) would meet her there. She called up on the day of what would become The Event to say she was coming and we confirmed that she would be meeting me in the Renton Transit Center. So, at 1:45, we left the house, to meet her there at a quarter after 2. We turned out to be a little late. So Stephanie and I walked up and down and around and we didn't find her anywhere. The next 101 was supposed to come in a little while, so we waited I guess half an hour for it, and when it came, she still wasn't there. Well, this is getting to be a long story, so I'll get to the point. Apparently, she had asked the bus driver how to get to the "Fairwood Transit Center". Nevermind that it doesn't exsist.... He(She?) just told her to take the 148 which would get her to Fairwood. So she wandered up and down Fairwood and finally called Gina to call my dad to come get her. There, end of story.
Anyway, I took advantage of going to the mall on that Fateful Day to get a CD I'd been looking for, but neither of the two CD places had it. So today on my lunch break from work, I walked around on the Ave, found Tower Records and found my CD there! Yay! But it was $17.99. Boo! But it was worth it! Yay! But I spent all my 20 bucks of birthday money on it, with only 50 cents back with tax. Boo.
Oh I read everyone's comments on July 10th's blog post. LOL, Gina, my poor carpet! Oh Michelle, I finally read the post AFTER I sent the e-mail. Duh...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE!
(Added July 16th:)I've been having trouble with this font color thing. NOTHING goes with orange except red stuff and blue stuff! I think I'll just stick with the regular black for the most part. If it wasn't for the surrounding colors, I'd think that orange was hideous and change it, but it kind of goes with the rest of the template, no?
