Here's a copy of an e-mail I sent because this basically shows everything I'm up to. I'm too lazy and too forgetful to be able to type it all again.

"You asked how long I work at the Burke, and if I'll be going during the school year. Well, they're kind of related actually, so I'll answer the second part first. Yes, I will be spending time at the Burke; Liz is giving me research for Autumn quarter for 3 credits! Yay! But since it's for credit, they can't pay me, which is kind of disappointing because I need $$money$$. But dude, I'm totally happy with the credits; that means I can finally start on my Geology minor, and that will go on my transcript and stuff. So who knows, maybe it's better than money. BUT. Since I won't be getting any income during the school year (here comes the answer to the other question), I want to work as close to the beginning of the school year as possible, but still give myself time to prep for the new year. So my last paying day will be the 18th of Sept. Then I go back sometime in the first or second week of October; since it's for credit now, probably the first week.

So yeah, there's the whole story.
...
As it turns out, I have a 5-day weekend! My dad asked for Friday off so he could have Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon off. So I decided to do the same thing (we were thinking of doing some kind of short road trip somewhere and we didn't know when we would or even how many days it would be). So I've already got the 4-day weekend. THEN it turns out I have a dentist appointment on tuesday at noon so there's no way I'd be able to make it to campus. So I have Tuesday off too! Unfortunately, that means I have to work Wed Thurs AND Fri the next week, in order to still work my three days per week. So I hope I'm not all rundown by the end of Friday.
As for the plans (the ones that we didn't know when or how long they would be), tomorrow we're going to wake up Super early at leave around 8am and drive up to the Islands. We'll be taking the ferry to Friday Harbor. Yay! Then at Friday Harbor, we'll just wander around and come back. :) "
One last thing; check out my spy name! Click here for my spy name. You can click on "Try a Different Name" to find how how sassy you can be with a new middle name.
That pretty much covers it. I'm gonna go online now n check if anyone's on AIM!

"Oo, it's just another Manic Monday... Wish it was Sunday... Cause that's my fun day... It's just another Manic Monday." Yes I do remember the Bangles song Stevie! And it's so true. Actually this morning I was reminded of the song "Tainted Love". There was this guy getting out of his car in the parking lot (random events trigger these train-of-thoughts) and I there was something else.... I don't remember what... That made me think of a hitman. So I was thinking "run, run!" And then the verse "Once, I ran to you... Now I run from you" from Tainted Love. (The only verse in the song I know.) So yeah that song's been stuck in my head all day.
Oh one of the volunteers just came in and saw what I was doing. She thought I was on work-time, but I'm actually on lunch break. I feel naughty! :(
Which comes to why I'm writing this at work. Everyone's gone! So basically, if I leave the room I lock myself out. Ergo, I can't leave until the end of the day. I couldn't even leave for lunch! And so I'm typing this on a Mac. I hate Macs.
Incedentally, I'm going to wrap this up because I only have 10 more minutes of lunch break left. I may use the company computer to blog, but I'm honest. :)
But, I'm very glad. Today was a good work day; I made a lot of progress on my limpets.

Oh I didn't have a good day today. My feet are in severe pain, and so is my wallet.
I got new shoes yesterday and I thought, hey, huh huh huh, I'll break them in on a work day! Doy. And my wallet hurts because I just bought my textbooks, enough said. Actually, no, not enough; I found out over the weekend that there were no used Bio books. I was mad... Okay fine. I'll get the rest of my books used. Yeah, well, no such luck on Andrea Day. My Organic Chem book also had to be bought new. The two most expensive books of the bunch. AND THEN I had to carry my 50 pounds of textbooks on my swollen feet. It was exruciating. I called my mom to come pick me up at the bus stop (three blocks away from my house...). And, I didn't get any work done at work so I can't even be happy I was productive.
Now that I'm done being pessimistic, I'll tell you guys all the bright side. (I like to save the best for last.) I did, then again, get my textbooks bought. I was looking over my Biology book fondly. I'd been afraid that I might have lost interest in it because it's been three years now since my AP Bio class. And you know what? I don't get to brag enough, so I'll just have it all out today. I got a 5 on my exam and I'll be darned if I'm going to lose interest in something I used to love that much. So I'm really happy about that. Other postiveness, I'm going to be on the Burke website! I might have already said this. But, today I got to write my little blurb on my research. I'm going to be on the page with the other undergrads doing research. Don't anyone go and try to find me now, because the page isn't up yet. It's still pretty far down the road. Mmm... And even more positiveness, I'm going to get to start on my minor next quarter! I'll be doing more research with Liz, but since they can't pay me they're going to give me credit. Fine by me! :) Well, I found out about this a while ago, but today she gave me the add code to get in.
I want the album Rabbit Songs by Hem!! I love the song "Half Acre"!!! Wah, I have no money because I bought my *BrandSpankinNew* textbooks!!
