Yay! It looks like I'm going to be going to Orca's Island. Unless something immense and dramatic occurs, I will at least be staying one day. But I want to stay overnight. It will be my first overnighter.
It was a weird day today. I saw John and I think he was trying to recruit me again. I feel so proud to be working under Liz whenever I see him around. It's ironic but he makes me want to work harder!
In more interesting news, I saw a guy today that I haven't seen in a long time.... A few of you out there know him, or at least know if him... Sigh, young girl's fancy.... Anyway, he actually stopped to talk to me, and told me he was having an exam in a little while and also had just gotten a cavity filled and the novacaine was still numb-y. I probably sounded like a fool (whatever I said, I don't remember), but it's okay, it's not like I'll ever see him again.
I was given fruit today. By a very nice lady, but it was very unexpected!
The Phones weren't ringing like yesterday. Today it was more... normal. Well, in the phone respect anyway. Everything else, as you can see, was wacky.

Well I seem to have gotten loads of comments.... So many I can't handle them. Well, I guess this blog can be a bit more personal because I don't have to worry about prying eyes.I ran into an old high school friend on the bus. It was really strange because I would have never expected to see her; ever. It's one of those things where you graduate high school and it's accepted and expected that you won't see anyone ever again. Well she's going to the UW too, so I'll be seeing her around. It was a nice surprise!Like I said, I'm really looking forward to the start of the next year. I don't forsee any problems. Then again, I didn't last year, either.... 20/20 hindsight, am I right? As for my blogs, I think my favorite is the garden one. The scrolly bar goes best with the layout. And I do like gardens; if I can't be in them in real life, then I should create a cyber-garden. :)I'm really looking forward to Orca's Island this weekend.... I really hope I go at all!Oh work was weird today. A phone began to ring in every room I walked into! And none of them had that electronic ringing, they ALL had the old-fashioned bell ringing. EVERY room. Maddening! It was just like that episode of Star Trek where Data has nightmares that Doctor Crusher is drinking Riker's brains through a straw and he always hears the telephone ringing and he can't answer it. Well, there wasn't anyone drinking brains, but there was a lot of coffee going around. Also, take free enneagram test

Well, I figure in order to show you all my hard work, I'll reveal my other blogs that I never show to anyone because they're just "guinea pig" sites. So here they are, with my new layouts that I did all by myself (with help from my dad! Thank you Daddy Dearest!).

I'm bored of all this blog stuff now. I'm going to go out and make something of my life.

Well I was still getting used to the zodiac layout, and I'm already prepping another blog layout. (Since I haven't gotten many comments on it since the layout has been up--all weekend--I'm assuming either it's an unlikeable layout, or not many people visit m site anymore.) This second time around it's using all the elements I was intending for my first one. Hooray! It's looking smashing. I'll put that one to use in another week or so, so that the poor unloved zodiac one gets a little air time. And I'm already thinking of doing a third. What I'll probably end up doing is working on the third one while the first zodiac one gets its "air time", then when I'm finished with the third one, put that one on. Then after another week or two, I'll put on my second one. :) So complicated!I've figured out my schedule for the transition from summer to autumn. The 18th will be my last day of work (ergo, my last day on campus before the quarter begins). I'll give myself a week to put the last few things in order, then I move into McMahon on the 26th. (Michelle, I can help you unpack on the 27th or sometime that weekend.) And then classes begin on the 30th. So exciting! I'm really looking forward to the new year. Well.... I don't want it to come any faster than it's aready speeding, but I like my classes a lot more than I did last year. (Hush! I can't really say anything until I've at least sampled the first week.)So, I'm off to finish up my blog templates!

Say Goodbye to cubic!! And hello to.... Pink Zodiac? As I said before, and I stress again, definately more icky pinky than I anticipated.May I draw your attention to the sidebar. That, in particular, caused a considerable amount of pain, but I think it was worth it. Also, about the links, the mouseover thing (underline, overline) was slightly painful. Oh, but I got the visited and unvisited links to be different colors, kind of by mistake, that was kind of cool. (What I mean by "mistake" is that I was actually trying to make the visited links be a different color, but I really liked how it turned out with the one you see now.)(I have to say these things or all my blood and sweat will go unnoticed.)The little crossbar cursor I got from another template "for sale", I guess you could say, on blogskins.com.

I've got my website finally finished!! It's a lot more complicated than I thought it would be; one project just turned into another and another.... Unfortunately, I didn't get to use Jad's or Gina's ideas, but since I do in fact still have all those materials, I will be changing some pictures/backgrounds/etc later on down the line to fit with my original vision. The whole site right now is a bit more pinkish than I expected or wanted, but it's pretty cool anyway, no?
I have to make a few last adjustments so that everything fits according to blogger, and it will be up and running. So I will have a brand-new, made-from-scratch website up tonight or tomorrow. I'm looking forward to (scared of?) the future commenting.
