The first week at the dorms has been really interesting.

The freshmen are being all freshmen-y. I can't explain it any other way. They think they know, but they don't. I'm not being stereotypical, either; this is just what I observe. I went through the same thing! I thought I knew, but I didn't. But I learned. They'll learn. But they can't learn it fast enough.... :) Meanwhile, my studies get further and further behind.
Oops lunchtime. (Yes, I'm at home... So nice!)
As a last note, I'm going to be applying for a scholarship soon. Wish me luck!
PS-I helped Michelle do her posts, everyone check it out! (It's on the left, under "Michelle...")

Oh wow, it's been a long few days. But very satisfying. I love my Spanish class; I'l finally be able to write in Spanish properly. I adore my Biology class; I wait in anticipation for the next word that spills out of my prof's mouth. I think, "teach me, teach me!" haha. But the prof isn't going fast enough! I want more factoids, more tree of life, more more more! My Organic Chemistry is okay... I'll just have to deal with it.
I watched the movie Amélie the other day with Laura. It's a cute movie. Certainly not a feel-good movie, for loners as my self who identify with Amélie just a little too much and don't in fact get that happy ending.... There are funny parts in there that are creepy to me because it's exactly what I go through! Only she overcame her cowardice, I'm still a coward. ;)
This morning I woke up thinking strange thoughts, such as: "I bet there's one human out there who feels it's necessary that everytime they wash their hands, they must take off their shoes and wash their feet, too. How terrible it must be to have to use the restroom in a movie theater." Or, "there's someone out there who, upon turning on their laptop, must touch the middle of the screen with their pinky when the welcome screen comes up and watch the rings of rainbows expand as the plastic is pushed down. If they leave their computer for any reason as it's turning on, they rush back into the room when they remember and slowly perform the ritual and watch in glee as their rainbow appears." Or something more discreet such as "everytime someone brushes their hair, they have the urge to retie their shoes if they have laces." Other strange thoughts, along the same lines.
It's morning so I have to get ready for class. Bye all!
