I'm sure you've all heard about the idea to go up into space and dump all our garbage onto the sun. I wonder if the earth's orbit is on such a tightrope that any disturbance in the sun's mass (because all that waste wouldn't dissapear, it would just turn into carbon) would make the entire Solar System collapse in on itself.

I forgot again! Every year, since I first read Shakespeare's Julius Caesar my sophomore year of high school, I have forgotten to celebrate the Ides of March (or, March 5th). I don't remember how scholars decided that the Ides of March was March 5th, but there you have it. I forget every year.
Also I finally got a lava lamp today! I've been wanting one for years. It has red wax and purple liquid. I'm waiting for it to warm up now. Right now the wax is just a solid red blob at the bottom. Kind of boring.
What a strange blog entry. It must be because I'm sick.
About the Spanish play.... My goodness, what a disaster. It turns out the lady at the ECC theatre had double-booked on our time slot. So we had to frantically find another place or cancel. Luckily, we found the Walker-Ames room in Kane Hall, but the biggest worry was that the W-A room is really expensive to "rent" out. But everything turned out okay; it seems that no one will have to pay a cent for it because it wasn't our fault, and also that lady may be getting fired (my very angry prof is sending out letters to various places).
Whee, lunch time! I may be sick but at least I can still enjoy soup on a rainy day.

Wow the 3rd of March. This quarter has gone by fast! But it's that time again.... Animal of the Month!
[clic!]The Coatimudi. I don't have any factoids about it like I usually do about my animals, except that I know it's related to the raccoon, which isn't hard to see from the picture.
And now it's time for class.
