mood: Tired.....
current sustenance: Original-flavored Sun Chips
So it's Friday the 13th. I'm no paraskavedekatriaphobe (my word of the day, how cute) but it sure is a mighty big coincendence that at 12:30 last night (only 30 minutes into the day) I was rudely awakened by my clustermate's loud-enough-to-hone-in-boats-in-a-dark-mist alarm. I had to call the RA to turn it off. By the time I got back to sleep it was after 2am because there was also some kind of bug that decided to buzz in my ear.
At work today, I spent an hour and a half picking up books from the book return. It usually only takes me about 20 minutes. Since it was the last day of finals week, everyone and their dog, apparently, was returning their books (yeah, well, I'd like to see the dog try to open the book slot).
Then I spoke with Profra. Gillman and Norma; we have our summer project on-track now (more or less) and we will possibly be receiving a stipend for our troubles. The Mary Gates Grant was very nice and everything but we need liquid money; it is a summer job, after all.
Then my mommy came and we cleaned and packed and moved the rest of my stuff out of the room. Long story short, everything went smoothly except for one thing. We forgot a Swiffer in the cluster. I'll have you know I'm very attached to that Swiffer. I'm more sad that it's missing than I am sad that I've moved out of McMahon. That says a lot relative to McMahon, but doesn't say very much relative to the Swiffer. So, we're going to go back tomorrow morning and attempt to retreive it.
We'll be on campus anyway because I'll be attending Diana's graduation. I hope that goes smoothly, I may not have a ride to Husky Stadium....

mood: Too happy, considering I still have one more final
current sustenance: Lime-flavored Tic-Tacs.
In my never-ending quest to dodge my studying obligations, I had breakfast with Diana and Manny this morning. Then I feigned 'loser' and followed them around. "Don't make me go back! Please!"
Someone's knocking at the door.... Please go away, please go away.... "No one's here!" ... ... Oh, she asks for Christina. Wrong cluster.
So you may notice to the left my new addition: Phases of the Moon. Really pretty pointless, but I can pretend that it is of the utmost importance to me because in my genius, all other matters are trivial. Philosophy final? Trivial!; ...Watch how the moon waxes and wanes before your eyes!
I've been popping Lime Tic-Tacs. I see in the ingredients that it includes dry lemon juice. Doesn't "juice" imply that it's juicy? In other words, isn't "dry juice" and oxymoron? Perhaps "dry lemon extract" would have been more fitting. Or they could put in "power words" like they do on the fronts of packages nowadays like "active" and "concentrate" and "fitness" because the American population can neither do nor be any of those things. "New Fitness-Mints with 'Active-Lemon' Concentrate!"
It says something when we start to think the lemon is more active than we are.
